If you have ever wanted to start your own vegetable patch or grow your own fruit, this course is a great place to start with all of the basics. Before you waste your money buying plants that might not thrive, learn with us, then you will be able to march into your local garden centre armed with the valuable knowledge about which plants will suit your region, the best location to grow the plants in, and how to give your seedlings the most ideal growing conditions like the correct watering, nutrition, light, soil, and suitable methods of pest and disease control.
Begin on Friday evening, and by Sunday night you could be ready to grow and enjoy your own fresh and healthy fruit and vegetables. This self-paced course will give you the confidence to start or enhance your veggie garden, with an understanding of what to grow and how to grow it well.
The course covers 14 lessons, and includes optional activities and tasks that can expand your knowledge in this area and be used as you plan a garden that's the perfect fit for your circumstances. At the end of each
lesson you'll need to complete an online self assessment to review your learning. The
